It lives!!

Haha…if the title didn’t say anything, yes I am still alive. School started, so I’m going to be busy (senior year of high school…oh crap). My muse had decided to hide from me all summer, which explains the lack of updates, but I just posted up three new poems, so go read them and tell me what you guys think. Comments and criticisms make the world go round (sort of). I’m not Crazy! lost the struggle for my attention, being replaced by another story that I am working on, in a way. I’ll put that one up soon, so don’t fret those of you who actually take a look at my page!

Well, I’m sleepy and planning on going to a gaming place soon, so Eldwyn out!

Darn it…

Grr….so the accursed thing known as ‘writers block’ has hit me, and there’s a chance that one or two of the short stories I planned for are going under the incomplete list and I’ll just try to work them into a comic or something. ‘I’m Not Crazy!’ is still one that I want to continue with, but obviously with the fact that I haven’t even posted the rest of the first chapter up, it’ll take awhile to do anything, so maybe I’ll switch over to the other chaptered story I planned for. It’s not the one that I posted the description for, but I’ll get something up to give it some attention, bring it out to the open.

School’s Out

Ah, summer vacation…blessed thing, how I love it. I’m already working on another short story, but it’s on a halt at the moment, but I’ll get back on it soon though, given that I have about 3 months of mostly sitting around and doing nothing planned. I am open for ideas, so if anyone can donate a sort of phrase, saying, or random sentence, I’ll see if I can turn it into something, short story or poem wise. I can’t guarantee when it’d be done or how long it’d take to get it written up, but that’s the fun of it! I am also open for suggestions on current writings, like how do you think it should go, what can I do to fix it, that sort of stuff, please and thank you. =)

Winding down…

Well, junior year of high school is just about up and let me tell you, it’s a cruel winding down. First, I’m bombing History, but thats my own damn fault (I do good on tests, I just don’t turn the homework in…) and so I’m stressing about that. Next up is the short story that I pretty much had to have done in a week on a subject I’m unfamilar with for the most part (pick a technological trend and either write a short story or an essay on it and how it might affect society in the future), then my Sociology presentation and dadadaaa…my self portrait for art, but again my own damn fault for choosing to do something a tad complicated.

All complaining aside, I must admit that this has been one of my funnest years, except for earlier uh…issues. I’ve actually joined several clubs, done several school functions like Prom, Unitown, the Relay for Life, and all DECA things. I’ve been as active as possible and that’s really an improvement, although my social skills still pretty much suck.

So when I thought that I could have the second part of I’m Not Crazy! done when I planned it to be, yeah that didn’t work. I’ve hit a lag at the moment, but since summer vacation’s coming up I can work on it more and stuff. Also, if anyone wants to donate a story idea, like short story, I’ll see if I’m able to use it later on and get something written. Please and thank you peoples. ^-^

Been awhile

Ah, haven’t posted something in quite a bit, on either blog but that’s okay. On Saturday, my school disctrict was hosting an arts festival that covered visual and musical (visual being painting/drawing/ceramics etc.). My art teacher asked my class to submit two of the works that we feel are our best ones. Not everyone got in, considering each school had a bit of a small space to show our work off, but to my surprise, my white on black (think value drawing reversed) got in! This year has been a great year for me in the creative field. First off being that Cyanide was at first chosen by my teacher (whose class I had written it for) as an example in his portfolio. The next being the obvious fact that it got into the schools literary magazine and awarded third place in short fiction. Again, obviously now with one of my artworks making it into the art show. All of this has totally boosted up my creative self-esteem so much.

In writing news, I do have the first half of I’m Not Crazy! Chapter 1 done and typed up, so I can put it up here. Although I think I should really call it Part 1 considering it’s actually about the first 7 pages that I have written haha. I’ll eventually get onto finishing up the character descriptions and perhaps getting a few sketches of the characters, if I feel motivated enough ;)

I do hope that this long post is sufficient in making up for seeming pretty dead around here. That is if there’s really anyone visiting this page and such. If there happens to be anybody, could you provide me with a phrase or a word that will hopefully be a spring board for a short story or a poem? I used to do that a year or two ago and wrote some pretty good stuff with just one word being the inspiration. I’ll, obviously, credit whoever gave the idea, so if you got one, donate it if you can, please and thank you =)

Such an honor!

Edit: Not only did it get in the magazine, it won 3rd place in the short fiction category *^*

Ah, such exciting news (to me at least)! My short story Cyanide was selected to be in the Aerie Literary magazine that my school hosts! I  can’t believe it, I’m just so happy that it was chosen for something again (the first occasion being for my English teachers portfolio (the short story was for his class)). Hopefully two of my poems got in as well, but I won’t be too down if they didn’t make it.  If you haven’t read it, or new to my page, give it a try and tell me what you think of it and if it needs any sort of editing. Thank you =)

Guess what’s coming…

Besides easter, summer is approaching pretty quickly down here, but of course it’s not like Arizona usually gets a spring or a fall (we were lucky though to get a fall). Of course, it’s not nearly hot enough to jump into the pool (the warmest it has been was 70), unless you’re a crazy idiot like myself who doesn’t care and will jump in anyways. Ah to be young and stupid haha.

Events as of today

-sigh- things have been going okay in the real world. Failing at least one class and parents are sure to be pissed at me, but oh well. I’ll try harder the rest of the semester. Got spring break, so I’m thankful for that (an entire week dedicated to watching anime and sitting on my behind, nothing I’d rather do besides that). I do have a feeling though that one of my friends will drop by unannounced and ‘kidnap’ me, but thems the works.

We still have yet to locate my sisters boyfriends snake that got out who knows when and my mom seems to be taking it rather well, although she doesn’t want to move the dirty towel pile in fear that it’s in there (she’s scared of and hates snakes).  I think it’s hilarious though. I love snakes and don’t care if one is loose in the house as long as it isn’t poisousness, which this one isn’t (it’s a ball python). My only issue is that when it is located, I’m not picking it up if the keeper isn’t there.

Anyway, that’s about it of special events…oh, I saw Watchmen last (?) weekend and thought it to be brilliant. Amazing visuals and it followed the comic just about perfectly. Can’t wait for the chance to see it again, which is nobody knows when.
